Title: Perceptions of Generative AI on Critical Thinking Skills in Physical Therapist Assistant Clinicians
Ideal participant: Licensed PTAs that used Gen AI during their time as a student.
Description: The purpose of this qualitative study is to explore the perceptions of physical therapist assistant clinicians regarding the use and influence of generative AI on the development of their critical thinking skills. The aim of this study is to benefit society by providing insight into the lived experiences of physical therapist assistant clinicians and their perceptions, helping higher education administrators, faculty, and instructional designers ethically leverage generative AI as a supportive educational tool rather than a substitute for independent reasoning. The study consists of a Zoom video recorded (video off) interview lasting between 45-60 minutes. A $20.00 Amazon gift card will be provided as a thank you gift.
