Emily Abigail Abbott

Emily Abbott, PT, DPT is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. She is a Board-Certified Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Clinical Specialist. Dr. Abbott serves as a site coordinator of clinical education at Keck Medical Center managing >40 student placements annually and teaches in both the pathophysiology and clinical management of the patient with cardiovascular, pulmonary, and general medical conditions courses at USC. In addition to seeing critically ill patients with acute cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, her clinical practice specializes in lung transplant, seeing patients both in the acute and OP settings and she serves on her hospital’s lung transplant multidisciplinary selection committee.
