Professional Bio
Before physical therapy, I worked as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. That background continues to influence both my teaching and clinical work, particularly my emphasis on movement quality and active patient participation in rehabilitation.
Earlier in my career, I spent five years working as the private physiotherapist and sports manager for His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. This role involved extensive international travel across 47 countries and more than 50 cities and provided exposure to a wide range of healthcare systems and leadership contexts.
In subsequent clinical leadership roles, including serving as a Clinic Manager, I led initiatives that increased total patient visits by 37% and initial evaluations by 54%, exceeding industry benchmarks. During this period, I also ranked first across system-wide performance metrics related to scheduling efficiency, patient arrivals, and direct patient requests.
In addition to my clinical and teaching roles, I have developed clinical advancement programs, authored post-operative rehabilitation protocols for total knee arthroplasty, and regularly mentor orthopedic residents, student physical therapists, and early-career clinicians. I’m interested in questions that sit between orthopedics, clinical reasoning, and learning science, especially where methodological choices influence real-world decision-making.
