Professional Bio
Keoni earned his DPT from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2010. He completed a graduate certificate in Program Evaluation and Assessment from UNLV in 2021. He enjoys serving on the physical therapy department's assessment and clinical education committees. He teaches within the musculoskeletal and clinical education tracks at UNLV.
Research Interests: Student perceptions of clinical education experiences in rural and underserved settings & physical therapy graduates' practice patterns in rural Nevada and underserved settings. Clinical assessment and tendon morphology amongst collegiate athletes. The impact of service-learning activities, such as pro-bono physical therapy services to uninsured and underinsured individuals in Southern Nevada, on students and community partners.
