Professional Bio
His leadership and scholarship center on professional education within higher education, with particular interests in educational strategy, interprofessional education, interdisciplinary patient care, and the use of data and evidence to strengthen educational programs and outcomes. He earned his PhD in Higher Education, with additional emphasis in advanced quantitative methodologies in educational and human sciences.
Dr. Pabian has completed extensive advanced training in higher education leadership, including the Fellowship in Higher Education Leadership through the American Physical Therapy Association’s Education Leadership Institute, the Leadership Development Program of the Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions, and the Leadership Academy of the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. He also completed a research fellowship with the former UCF College of Health & Public Affairs and has been recognized by UCF’s Scroll and Quill Society for his research and scholarly work. He is a Distinguished Scholar & Fellow of the National Academies of Practice.
His national professional service includes serving as Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy. He previously served on and chaired the Florida Board of Physical Therapy within the Florida Department of Health.
