Professional Bio

Rachel DeRocher, PT, DPT is an Assistant Professor at The College of St. Scholastica’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Duluth, Minnesota. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado following her education in Prosthetic and Orthotic Fitting and Fabrication from Century College (MN) with the goal of integrating both disciplines to enhance patient outcomes through interdisciplinary, collaborative decision-making. Rachel also serves as a guest lecturer for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of Minnesota, and the Prosthetics and Orthotics Program at Century College. She is actively pursuing her Doctor of Educational Leadership through The College of St. Scholastica. Her professional interests include improving continuity of care across the rehabilitation continuum and advancing team-based approaches to optimize outcomes for individuals with limb loss.
