Professional Bio

Anna is an assistant clinical professor and the Director of Clinical Education at Northern Arizona University’s Phoenix Bioscience Core Campus. In addition to being part of the clinical education team Anna teaches all the pediatric curriculum for the Phoenix cohort. Anna is a board-Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist with over 30 years of clinical experience. She graduated with her clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Northeastern University, her Master of Arts in Motor Learning from Columbia University-Teachers College and her Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Hunter College-City University of New York.    

Anna's clinical passions are working with high-risk infants and children with complex medical needs. Her research interests are in the areas of competency and entrustment based education and student readiness for pediatric intervention. Anna serves on the board of the AZPTA Pediatric Special Interest Group and teaches yoga every summer at Camp Patrick, a medically supported camp for children with spina bifida. She maintains a clinical practice with Cradle Collective in Phoenix.
