Christian Adam Garcia

Dr. Christian Garcia is an Assistant Professor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Coral Gables. His clinical and academic interests include cardiopulmonary and neurological physical therapy, with a particular focus on experiential learning in physical therapist education. He became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy in 2019 and earned his Doctor of Education in 2024 from the University of St. Augustine. His dissertation explored the role of experiential learning in enhancing students’ ability to prescribe exercise for individuals with neurological conditions. In addition to his academic role, Dr. Garcia practices part-time in an acute rehabilitation setting.
