Jamie Lynne Chichy, PT, DPT, DEd

Jamie Chichy, PT, DPT, DEd, is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Seton Hill University. She also serves as the Coordinator of the Interprofessional Education (IPE) Steering Committee, where she works to advance initiatives that prepare students for collaborative practice in today’s complex healthcare environments.
Dr. Chichy has been actively involved in developing interprofessional learning experiences that bring together students from multiple healthcare disciplines to strengthen communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care. Her work focuses on integrating evidence-based practice, ethical decision-making, and team-based healthcare delivery into health professions education. She also contributes to curriculum development and faculty training aimed at strengthening interprofessional collaboration across academic health programs.
Dr. Chichy’s clinical background in neurologic physical therapy has provided a strong foundation for her commitment to interprofessional practice, as optimal outcomes for individuals with neurologic conditions often depend on coordinated care among multiple healthcare professionals. She is passionate about preparing future healthcare providers to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
