Laura Mary Oppermann

Dr. Laura Oppermann is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in the School of Health Professions at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston. She joined UTMB in 2017. She earned her Master of Physical Therapy from UTMB and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Texas Woman’s University. Her undergraduate degree was a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. For the residential program, she is the Director of Clinical Education and teaches other courses across the curriculum including Professionalism, Legal and Ethics and Introduction to Clinical Education (ICE).
