Lauren Beth Hutchins, PTA

I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with more than 14 years of clinical experience in Skilled Nursing and Outpatient Orthopedic settings. I became an APTA Level I Credentialed Clinical Instructor in 2016 and a Level II Credentialed Clinical Instructor in 2022. My professional interests include clinical education, mentorship, leadership development, and supporting the growth of Physical Therapy students and developing clinicians.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Leadership at Grand Canyon University, where my studies have expanded my knowledge of leadership, coaching, mentoring, organizational development, and professional growth. I am particularly interested in Clinical Instructor development, student supervision, and creating learning environments that promote critical thinking, accountability, confidence, and progressive independence.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to patient-centered care and clinical education. I value the opportunity to support students and clinicians as they develop their clinical reasoning, communication, professional identity, and confidence in practice. I hope to continue growing my involvement in Physical Therapy education and contribute to efforts that strengthen the quality and consistency of clinical education within the profession.
