Megan Chirby

Megan Chirby is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Physical Therapy in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Dance from Case Western Reserve University in 2008 and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from National Louis University in 2010. Megan spent seven years as a high school educator in Chicago public and charter school before earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018. Her area of clinical expertise is acute care and clinical education, and she has been a Level 1 APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor since 2020. Megan joined the Physical Therapy department at Quinnipiac University in 2025 and her current areas of teaching include cardiopulmonary and acute care rehabilitation and clinical decision making. She serves as a faculty advisor for the Quinnipiac University section of the APTA’s PT Moves Me Recruitment Campaign.
