Professional Bio
Dr. Megan Ware graduated from Abilene Christian University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise sports science. She then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Hardin-Simmons University and graduated in 2010. Since graduation, she has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics with some outpatient neurological rehabilitation. In addition to clinical work, she felt called to teach future physical therapists. She went on to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine and her Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2018. She completed her Therapeutic Pain Specialization in the Fall of 2023 through EIM. Her areas of interest are pain science, the science of learning, student success, and AI in higher education. She has nine years of DPT education experience focusing on functional anatomy, patient management skills, interventions, professional topics, and psychosocial considerations.
