Professional Bio
Under her leadership, YSU’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program was named Ohio’s Program of the Year in 2020 and 2021. She has helped educate over 800 physical therapists and played a key role in expanding clinical training spaces and academic offerings at the university. Her research focuses on stroke rehabilitation, cognitive and physical function, wellness in people with movement challenges and interprofessional education, supported by internal and external funding.
Dr. Landgraff has authored/co-authored 10 peer-reviewed publications, delivered 27 professional presentations, and contributed to the documentary Viva La Fra, chronicling a traumatic brain injury survivor’s recovery. She helped establish YSU’s Pro Bono Physical Therapy Clinic and continues to serve the community through programs like Walk with a Doc.
A leader in the field, she has held roles with the American Heart Association and Ohio Physical Therapy Association, and in 2025, was named a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice in Physical Therapy.
