Title: An Exploratory Study of the Workplace Skills Competencies of Practicing Physical Therapists based on a TTI TriMetrixDNA Assessment Tool
Ideal Participant: PT, PTA, CI, SCCE, practicing faculty
Description: The purpose of this study is to describe the prevalence of competencies on the TTI TriMetrixDNA Assessment Tool demonstrated by practicing physical therapists. Workplace competencies are critical for success in any profession, including physical therapy. Research suggests that in addition to technical skills, professional competencies including problem solving, leadership, and adaptability play a key role in job performance, and patient outcomes. The study aims to determine whether practicing physical therapists demonstrate consistent set of workplace competencies based on their years of experience and setting. Participation involves completing the TTI TriMetrix DNA Assessment Tool. Participants will receive a summary result of the assessment.
