Title: Utilization of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy Clinical Practice Guidelines: A Survey Study
Ideal Participant: PT, PTA who work with patients who have primary cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions
Description: This study aims to assess physical therapists' and physical therapy assistants' awareness, perceptions, and implementation of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary (CVP) Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs). This study will provide first insights into the reach and utility of CVP CPGs developed by the APTA Academy of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy in physical therapy practice. Findings will inform strategies to enhance guideline construction, dissemination, and implementation, ultimately supporting more consistent evidence-based practice in CVP physical therapy.
