Job Opportunity: Full Time Faculty or Instructor – DPT Program


Location: Hybrid/Flexible (Farmers Branch, TX – South College Dallas campus)


Position:
South College seeks dedicated Assistant or Associate Professor-level faculty to contribute to the development of its hybrid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. Applicants will be considered for core faculty roles or leadership positions such as:
•    Director of Admissions
•    Director of Outcomes & Assessment
•    Director of Student Affairs
•    Director of Faculty Development & Research

Key Responsibilities:
•    Deliver and develop both distance education and on site lab instruction across the DPT curriculum.
•    Design and administer student assessments using traditional and innovative methods.
•    Analyze course outcomes, lead post course reviews, and support curriculum improvements.
•    Ensure compliance with accreditation standards (CAPTE).
•    Engage in scholarly work and participate in departmental, institutional, and professional service activities.

Qualifications:
•    Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), or an academic doctorate in Physical Therapy or related field.
•    Board certification or equivalent demonstrated expertise in major curriculum areas.
•    Active (or eligible) Physical Therapy license in Texas.
•    Preferred: Teaching experience in a CAPTE-accredited DPT program, strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, and ability to travel to Dallas for labs/events.
