Ideal participant: Faculty members teaching mindfulness curricular content in U.S. accredited entry-level DPT programs.
Description: This exploratory-descriptive mixed-methods study to explore the integration of mindfulness curricula in U.S.-accredited entry-level doctor of physical therapy academic programs through online surveys and semi-structured interviews. The purpose of the study is to describe and analyze the current self-reported prevalence of mindfulness curricula within entry-level physical therapy education, while investigating the andragogical aims, curricular content, theorized mechanisms of effect, and delivery methods employed by faculty when incorporating mindfulness instruction into entry-level physical therapy education programs.
