Title: Humanities in Physical Therapy Curricula: A National Survey

Ideal Participant: PT

Description: Despite growth in the medical humanities, there is limited research on how the humanities are incorporated into physical therapy (PT) education—and no current data on their frequency or scope of use within entry-level PT programs. The purpose of this survey is to gather information on how humanities content is currently utilized in PT programs. We also hope to capture the diverse ways in which the humanities and arts are used to prepare students for clinical practice. The 21-question survey takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete. This study is an exempt, non-human subjects study approved by the IRB at Sacred Heart University. Your participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time from participation without penalty. Accessing and completing the survey link will act as your informed consent.
